November 18, 2020UNICEF, Ministry of Interior and Iran-Switzerland Chamber of Commerce campaign has been completed
A tripartite collaboration between the Ministry of Interior, Iran-Switzerland Chamber of Commerce (ISCC) and UNICEF Iran managed to provide 2,172 food packages including beans, spaghetti, soya bean, oil and milk to the vulnerable children in Sistan and Baluchestan province with the gracious support of ISCC’s members and backed by a comprehensive nutritional needs assessment. This campaign which was launched on 18 August 2020 to respond to the nutritional needs of 2-5 year-old children in Sistan and Baluchestan province during COVID-19 pandemic concluded on Wednesday 21 October, with representatives of involved companies, ISCC, Ministry of Interior and UNICEF Iran gathered to inaugurate the distribution process that will be led by the Office of Women and Family Affairs of Sistan and Baluchestan’s Governor General Office.
Thanks to the support of our partners, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Ministry of Interior and all the companies supporting this program, which with their help, have taken a big step to improve the nutritional conditions of the children of this country.
